Post Quote of the Week - Isabella Rupp



Emmy-nominated producer Isabella Rupp was the guest speaker at the 17th Annual Student Arts Festival - the High School Exhibition in East Hampton, New York, this past weekend, where she encouraged students to become storytellers. Using J.K. Rowling as a specific example of a famous storyteller, Rupp said:

“JK Rowling’s first manuscript for 'Harry Potter' was rejected 12 times,” Rupp encouraged. “Just because your stories aren’t always successful, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep telling them.”

WOW!!! For the fact that JKR was rejected and THAT MANY times- ya think those folks who rejected her are now looking for other jobs? But it is true- dont give up, keep trying. Then you too can be a billionaire-GO JKR!!!!!!!
