The next issue of Entertainment Weekly listed their 100 greatest characters of the past 20 years, and Harry Potter came in at number two, after Homer Simpson. Daniel Radcliffe briefly spoke about the series, and which other fictional teenaged character he'd like to have portrayed on screen.  Quote:
"The books will be around for decades to come which makes me wonder if in 30 years time, we will be seeing remakes of all these movies. I have a very dark suspicion that that will happen, although I don’t particularly want it to!"
If you could have spent your adolescence playing any other character, who would it be?
Daniel Radcliffe: "I was always unbelievably jealous of Tobey Maguire playing Spider-Man. I do think Spidey is the coolest of the superheroes."
Coincidentally, the Spider-Man film series will be relaunched soon, directed by Marc Webb. Webb is currently looking for the right actor to play Peter Parker, and amongst those is teen Tom Riddle himself, 19-year-old Frank Dillane, who is currently in talks for the role. There is no word yet on when the actor will be chosen, but if it is Frank, we'll report on it here.  | |

Yeah, I also have a horrible feeling that the movies will be remade. It would be neat to see who they would chose to play the characters, but even then, that would be a lot to remake the whole series... And now I know what my parents mean when they say that people have completely botched up film remakes!
That's also really awsome that they came in at number two! YEAH!
I love how Dan's jealous of Spidey.
