| | |  Quidditch grows as a college sport
The Mollywobbles, the Middlebury College Quidditch Team, is proving what many originally thought crazy: Quidditch can be a college sport. On just this past Sunday, the first ever Intercollegiate Quidditch World Cup Fall Festival took place, and the final match was Middlebury versus Vassar College. Quote:
"We played really well out there today," said Middlebury team captain Charlie Hoffman. "We went out there and surprised a lot of teams. Hit 'em low and hit 'em hard."
Interest is growing, as proven by the twelve teams just from Middlebury submitted into the competition. The sport, though just a joke at one point, is taking over several college campuses and is proving to be quite a serious matter. To learn more about the event in general, you can go here. Quote:

I read the article and I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at the picture. It looks hilarious.
It also looks and sounds VERY FUN! 
That's awesome that it's now a college sport. If I was going to college in England, I'd so join the team! (or at least try out. The experience would be an awesome story. 'Back in my day I rode a broom and played a wizard's sport...')
