| | |  Queen’s birthday party Web site launched
We reported several months ago that J.K. Rowling would be attending the Children’s Party at the Palace in honor of the queen’s 80th birthday on June 25. There is now a Web site up with details about the event, which will include a reading by Jo. Quote:
At 5:30 p.m., when all the guests are seated, J.K. Rowling will read from her latest book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, before the live show at 6 p.m.
Despite persistant rumors, Dan Radcliffe will not be attending the event. DR.co.uk and Dr.com have verified that Dan will be on vacation at that time, recuperating from his AS-Level exams. Good luck, Dan!
Sidenote: Filming for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will start again in mid-July.
