[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/alfonso_cuaron_80.jpg' align='middle'> Prisoner of Azkaban breaks another British Record - Summary:
The film release and ticket sales have broken another record! Article: Prisoner of Azkaban breaks another British Record
According to CBBC Newsround 'Prisoner of Azkaban' has broken yet another British Record. Quote: The Prisoner of Azkaban has broken another record at UK cinemas, selling £11.5m of tickets in just three days. Quote: UK fans got to see the film first on 31 May, but US fans had to wait until Friday 4 June.
Azkaban is thought to have made more than £5m on that first day, and around £14m in its first four days. Quote: The UK release was originally 4 June too, but it was cleverly brought forward so fans could watch it on a bank holiday and then during half-term.
US cinema bosses are so sure it's going to be a big hit that no other big releases open there on the same day.
The film is also selling loads of tickets in France, with 48% more than the first film and 28% more than the second. Source: CBBC Newsround |

I just got back for the 10am showing of POA(U.S) and people cut school and work just to see it! I think 90% of the theater was full and over half of the people there were adults! I didn't expect that..... |

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

I saw it at 3:30 PM, and there were a lot of elementary school children and a lot of adults, but hardly anyone in between!

I saw it today 10:20 am LA time. There were two theaters going and both were almost full. People were running up to the ticket counter, everyone seemed so excited including me. Id say it was 90% adults in the movie with me. Just a few children. I thought it was the best movie so far and tried not to dwell on the differences from the book.
I Loved it! :sorcerer:
