| | |  Preview screenings of Half-Blood Prince, July 7
Harry Potter fans have a chance to attend a preview screening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in one of three London cinemas on July 7, the same night that the film premieres. The exclusive screenings, which will raise money for charity, will take place at Vue Cinema in Leicester Square, Apollo Cinema in Piccadilly and Odeon Cinema in Covent Garden.
Tickets cost £50 each and proceeds go to The Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund. For more details, click here. | |

50 punds, about 60 euro and 80 USD... Thats a lot of cash. If it were just the preview, it definitely would be just something for hardcored fans. But as much of this money goes to charity, it's worth a reflexion. Pitty I don't live in London.

wowow... haha on the site it says ' popcorn and drinks provided' ... when does a cinema NOT provide them? or does it mean they're free?
the website doesn't say how much of the 50 pounds goes to the charity, not all of it will because WB wont profit from it.

^ Well it IS for charity. If you can't afford it, you can always wait a week for the proper release. There's no point doing a charity screening if you don't charge more than regular cinema prices. If it says they are provided, that means free of charge. I doubt WB are making a profit from this, however the cinemas would need to be paid for use of the facilities, I imagine.

It'd be a 'once in a lifetime' experience...and I think it'd be worth every penny. We won't have Harry Potter premiers too much longer. Just two more and then it's "bye bye" forever. I'd be all over it. I hope they do something like this for the two parts of Deathly Hallows. Im going to start saving money...just in case!
