You can now pre-order Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the following places; Barnes & Noble Amazon.com BooksAMillion Amazon.co.uk
The sixth Harry Potter novel in the series will be released on the 16th of July 2005, as I'm sure most of you already know. Prices range between $17 - $23 in the US and the book will cost £16.99 in the UK.

I pre-ordered at Amazon online!
Only problem is-- delivery to my country will take more than 15 days, and it says I'll get sometime between 1st to 2nd week of August 2005!
I dont think I can wait that long!
I've called our biggest local bookstore and asked them to inform me as soon as they receive the memo that tells them the exact date of release here-- and if the date is before August 2005, I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to cancel that online order!
A lady at the bookstore got my number and promised to alert me then.

my friend at work used to work for amazon, in the customer service department, she said there were so many complaints dur to poeple not getting their book on the release date that the lines were jammed.
i think il go to my local 24 hour tesco and pick it up from there, they had so many last time the OOTP came out!!
So brits!!! that the heads up, 24hour tesco!!!!

I didn't have to pre-order the book, I put it on reserve at Border's Books, making it only $17.99 instead of $30.00, and i don't have to pay for it until it comes out, at least I know I won't have to get out there as they set it out on sale, but I'll probably be there anyway
