Pottermore CEO admits several correspondents cover Wizarding World news, events
Pottermore CEO Susan Jurevics discussed the reasons behind the new face of J.K. Rowling's interactive Harry Potter website, focusing on the expansion of the author's Wizarding World to include Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and the upcoming Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plays.
Jurevics discussed Pottermore at Friday's Futurebook conference 2015, which SnitchSeeker's correspondent Milo attended and covered. The session, which was recorded by SnitchSeeker for all to hear, can be listed to below.
- The CEO admitted that there are in fact SEVERAL people, or team who compromise of the one Pottermore correspondent, and not just one person. They were hired as Rowling herself would not be available to update on all aspects of the Wizarding World herself given her busy schedule. The team consists of copy writers and journalists.
As seen on Pottermore already, the team that form the correspondent cover everything from the set of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter, the upcoming Celebration of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plays.
