| | | Potter thieves in court today The BBC reports that the two men who stole copies of ' Half-Blood Prince' and tried to sell them to reporters from The Sun, today appeared in court.
Aaron Lambert, 19, and Christopher Brown, 37, were accused of offering two stolen copies of the new book to Sun newspaper reporter John Askill. Quote:
Mr Lambert was given bail until 10 October, and Mr Brown bailed to return to the magistrates court in two weeks.
Justices were told witness statements relating to Mr Brown's alleged part in the case had not been prepared.
He faces one count of handling the stolen books - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - and one of possession of an offensive weapon.
Mr Lambert, who will appear before Northampton Crown Court in October, is accused of possessing an imitation firearm, a replica handgun with intent to cause Mr Askill to fear unlawful violence.

The comment was harmless and I would hope that people would see it for what it was --dark humor, but if you would like to be up tight about it and think of it as being innapropriate we all have our opinions. IM me if any further problems are found.

It's not about being 'up tight'. If you'd read the rules you'd know controversial issues are ONLY allowed in the CCR Forum. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them. Please respect that.

I think that I was only drawing a comparison between two acts of misconduct--and both are controversal aren't they so how was I in the "technical" wrong. And as far as taking off MJ=a true childs icon I resent that I grew up watching Michael Jordan play ball and if it wasn't for his inspirational story and impact on my life I would have never achieved as much as I have

Because one subject matter isn't exactly suitable for children. How was I to know whom you meant?
Just obey the rules. It's not hard. If you wanna discuss or comment on Jackson, get 10 posts and then go to the CCR. Simple.

You know who this reminds me of? Mundungus Fletcher! I wonder if the criminals stole the book from someone else who stole it? That would be exactly like Mundungus! Scary! |

| | Guest | how stupid can people be. And the reporters saying they would give it back. Sure *rolls eyes* If I were the reporter and I got the message about the book I would have been talking right to the copers.
