The Leaky Cauldron reports that Judy Corman, head publicist for Harry Potter's US publishers, Scholsatic, has died at age 65 of cancer. She passed away in her home, a spokesperson for Scholastic said: Quote: |
"She was so strong and had such a strong spirit, I never thought she would lose a battle with anything," Richard Robinson, chairman, president and CEO of Scholastic, told The Associated Press on Monday."

^Oh nice...I have two of those. Today was Breast Cancer Awareness Day at my high school. Everyone was asked not to wear denim (duh it's blue and the official color for breast cancer...propaganda for the lack of a better word is pink). Some of the upperclassmen handed out pink ribbons to the girls (I got an irredescent one), and the boys who didn't wear jeans got to have an Xbox tourney in the drama room...I'm really glad that my school is aware of the danger of breast cancer and all cancers in general. We host Relay for Life every May. My sympathies to the family of the publicist and the families of all cancer patients...live strong. | |
