| | | Potter pals in a 'spot' of trouble The Sun *cough* are reporting that acne was such a big problem, during filming for ' Goblet of Fire', that experts have had to be brought in to airbrush the blemishes away. Reportedly, the problem was most troublesome for the main stars, Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. Apparently 'heavy make-up' only made matters worse. Quote:
An insider revealed: “We have had to employ a special effects man to go through every frame clearing up their complexions.”
Quote:
A movie source revealed: “Sadly, the teen wizard had more luck conquering the terrifying beast, the Hungarian Horntail, than overcoming the embarrassing menace of acne.”
(Oh and they also got Rupert's age wrong; he's not 17 yet!)
As Jo Rowling would say - Pinch. Of. Salt.

Oh, man. What the media will print these days...
Am I correct in believing that The Sun is a tabloid magazine?

They do happen to be at the age where they are going to have problems, but I would think the makeup artists could cover most of that up. I really don't see them bringing in someone to air brush, I'm probably wrong.

| rightttttt I'm sure. Because - even it were an issue - they don't have make-up artists to cover that stuff up or anything. Seriously, if teenage girls can do it, professional make-up artists can.
Some people will believe anything.

It's the Sun for crying out loud! They post utter rubbish! So what if they got acne... I think every person (especially teen) goes thruough it and you can't see any acne on their faces when they go for special events...

I'm sure they've had spots. I'm also sure this is being exaggerated. Quote:

Tabloid Newspaper, yes. Quote:

Except for that Red Hot Chilli Peppers gig Dan went to. But then again, it's hardly manly to wear make-up when going to a gig with your mates so it was completely natural.

| The Sweetest Thing Lissy De Vil Pa-leeese!!! I doubt there's any big movie or famous person out there that hasn't had shots 'airbrushed' to enhance the actor/actress' appearence. There's nothing new about that! The Sun just likes to make something out of nothing.

Dan has quite bright lips too. It's just the lighting alot of the times. Like on a few pieces of merchandise, they both look like they're wearing lipstick but we know they're not. I have naturally red lips so I can vouch for that, except I quite like mine because they're feminine. Quote:

The way they put it it's like they're blaming the actors for having acne. Seriously!I'm kind of getting the impression they just put that in because they hope it will get fans interested, or to just fill in a couple of empty pages.

Rubbish. Everyone gets pimples whether they care to admit it, but with the way the Sun's going about it it's like they have it so bad that you could play connect-the-dots. *rolls eyes*
Anyway, I think this is nonsense. Discussing their acting is one thing, but their pimples? Oy.

| This is news? Honestly, isn't there some starving child in Africa to write about? The media must be really hurting for interesting (or any) stories at this time if they're bothering with this.
FYI, most movies (heck, even commercials and TV shows) are gone over and airbrushed. This is not a new phenomenon by any means.

I find it sad that any magazine/newspaper/whatever found this worthy to print in the first place. Think of all the trees they're killing for this rubbish!
It's frightening yet somehow entertaining finding out the things the Sun will publish.
