| | | Potter fan probably lost in bombings The London Evening Standard yesterday published a list of all those who were dead or missing as a result of the London bombings. A Potter fan, Carrie, aged 24, was on the list.
Her tribute said that the night before the attacks she, "interrupted her father's painstaking redecoration of the kitchen to scribble on the wall, which had been stripped of paper: 'Carrie Louise Taylor, 6 July 2005 - we got the Olympic bid 2012 on this day'. Next to that she recorded her other passion: 'One and a half weeks to Harry Potter!' - an avid reader, she had already ordered the latest JK Rowling."

Omg that's so sad, I know they're starting to realise the names of the victims now.. My thoughts are with all the families and friends of people who were killed and those who have been injured.

Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.

That's so....sad, and unfair. We've all been waiting for this book for ages, and then to be deprived from it at the last minute....
And it's not just the books; she has deprived from living on like others, from growing old, and meeting others, and working till her bones ache.

| How sad! Its really tragic about the loss of her and life and many others. And she was just egerly anticipating the release as much as we were. It such a shame that she will not be able to read the book. So when I am reading my Harry Potter book on Saturday I will have her in mind as a tribute. |

That's a very sad story, she didn't deserve to die. She probley was looking so much forward to Harry Potter and other stuff. And because of some heartless people her life is taken from her.

That's very sad. It brings home how tragic the whole situation is and that it could have been any one of us.

Anyway, that's really sad, but I'm not surprised. Many people died. It's so tragic.

That's really sad, can you imagine, she was looking forward to the book just as much as we are, who knows, maybe she was active on some HP sites, and now she's just gone... it hits when it's close to home, doesn't it? My cousin only missed that bus by 10 minutes and I thank God for that every day. It shouldn't have happened, it's too tragic...

Man...That's so sad. She didn't even get to read the new book. Jeez...Well, when I get up there, I'll make it a point to tell her all about it. Or maybe I can bring a copy. Man, I'm all depressed now.
Why people feel the need to kill each other is beyond me. especially mass murderings like this one. And these killings encompass all ages...I really am starting to hate people. You never can tell any more. What they're like. Whether or not they love life, or rather just take life...
My thoughts go out to everyone in those bombings. Rest in peace. May life after death be just as wonderful as your life here on this Earth.

I think of her as read the book on Saturday. It's so sad that she and the other were killed. It makes me think of the Sorting Hat's song from book 5.

OMG! I hate this terrorist thing, I was in london about a month before the bombings and to think what could have happened if I had planned my trip a little later.
And I have a ton of friends who live in England, and it just worried me to pieces when I saw the news.

Y'know something? If we never made up weapons, no one would ever have to die by terrorists. What could they use besides their bare hands?

Spain has their terrorist attacks down pat. Check out how they work.
I think all countries should have what they have if anything at all.
I feel bad for this girl but I'm not mourning the fact that she won't get to read the next book. It would not have been her dying thought. She's been deprived of much more than a book, but life and having the opportunity to live.

that's sad... harry potter fan or not... and I bet there were more harry potter fans between those people...why? why can't they just say what's on their mind instead of killing people? do they really think people are going to listen to them when they're doing things like this?
