| | | Potter fan dies at 14
Brendenn Bremmer, a boy who graduated from highschool at the age of ten (dressed as Harry Potter) and went on to college at the age of eleven, was found dead in his home in Nebraska on Friday. He was 14 years old when he died from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. Quote:
"We never pushed Bran-denn. He made his own choices. He taught himself to read. If anything, we tried to hold him back a little," she said.
"So many people will want to say he was maladjusted or not socially adjusted but that's just not so at all. It makes me mad. People have to understand that these kids are so much more intelligent than they are."
Quote:
"He had this excessive need to help people and teach people. He was so connected with the spiritual world, we felt he could hear people's needs and desires and their cries," said Mrs Bremmer, who writes mystery books in a part of America renowned for its unconventional New Age philosophies.
"We just felt like something touched him that day and he knew he had to leave. He left so he could save those people."
Our thoughts, feelings & prayers go out to his family, friends, and all who knew him, right now.
Please, if you ever feel the same way, please just talk to someone about it. You never know just how much that can help.

...*SIGH* Suicide...worst thing someone can ever do. My thoughts go out to him.
Wow. This kid is unbelievable - Too much knowledge? I've read in a few places, that many of those who are very very very intelligent tend to get tired of the way life is - an how other's view it. Tends to elad to suicide. Quote:
On the night he died, Brandenn's liver was donated to a 22-month-old child, his heart to an 11-year-old boy and his kidneys to two other patients.
I'm sorry for his family members, and friends. But due to his death, he helped four people Live. God works wonders I say...
Sorry for posting quite randomly... Quote:
"Things were different right from then," she said. "It's almost like my baby died and an angel took his place."
Wow. *In awe* I can see why she would see it this way......

That's so sad! He was my age. When I picture him dying, it's like picturing one of my friends dying . . . God it's so sad. It makes me wanna cry. He was so young.

oh my that is so sad And he was only 14? I feel so bad for his family and friends. At least he did save four people, but that is no reason to go and kill yourself, so don't do it!

So tragic... It makes me so sad when someone commits suicide. But because of his death he saved 4 people. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

I feel so bad for this kid's family. A friend of mine died like that a couple months ago, and my heart bleeds for his family. My prayers will go out to this family as well, and I hope I'm not the only one in saying this.

It is very possible that he just felt like he knew too much and couldn't handle it. It's possible he felt misunderstood and could have been depressed. I wish though that he could have talked to someone, he had such a bright future and will be truely missed by many. My prayers go out to his family and others. But the thing to remember is he did save other peoples lives by taking his own, maybe he knew things that people could never comprehend. -Angel

Such tragic news. He sounded like someone who had much potential. I send my condolences out to his family and friends. Quote:

Don't let suicide become an option. It hurts everyone you love when you choose to take your life.
I had a friend who tried to commit suicide when I was in high school. He would have died if his parents hadn't found him in time. I don't even want to think what could have happened if he had died.

parents shouldnt be too blinded by their desires in the first place.
ive seen it in adults and i find that a very nasty disease.
brings about devastation ... and death, of course...
when there's nothing left to offer... that's what my sis said about suicidals

It is horrible. This is one of the worst things i have heard, think about that kids future-he could have been someone great who could have changed a lot and helped a lot. And his poor family, my wishes are with them.
