Collectormania is merely the UK equivalent of the fan-centric Comic Cons in the US-- which btw, is where it all started. San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) is the grand daddy of it all, then you have New York Comic Con, WonderCon, DragonCon, Wizard World, SuperCon... the list is endless, pretty much every state has its own fan-centric conventions, several at the same time. the trick is to get a good guest list to show up at your Con other than the merchants, because you gotta admit, its more fun hanging around creative talent that brings your favorite fandom to life rather than the merchants sucking your hard earned money away

i'm pretty sure Nat Tena would show up in a US based convention very soon, most likely at SDCC if she has to travel just for that. also Dan Radcliffe is going to be is the US for the next 6 months, there are tons of comic cons happening all throughout the year. if he wants to go, they could probably try to arrange his schedule so that he can show up in one.

-_- i wished i lived in the UK just for the sake of being able to see Harry Potter actors at such events. sucky.

hey, there will be the phelphs boys, plus viktor krum, and seamus finnegan in Sarasota, Florida at the end of May for another event like this....i am so going ---4 hours away!!
