News has been circulating that JK Rowling has told her family, friends, and publishers that the new book six title will be "Harry Potter and the Fate of the Dementors". I was checking a few websites to confirm this rumor, but none have it listed, so I'm submitting it. :-) Article:

I don't think the dementors will meet their "fate" in the 6th book.... I think they will be around for the final battle in the 7th one. | |

nahhh i dont really think that would be it coz come on what would be the point
usually JK does something l;ike they have to find something, someplace, or someone. i think the next book should be called
harry potter and the rise of hogwarts
that could be quite good
although JK doesnt usually give too many clues in the title.

That would be a cool title, i dont think that she would kill harry of in the 6th book anyway. but hey anything is possible...I might be that fate of the dementors themselves not someone getting killed by them, but it does seem that way doesnt it?

I don't think that is the title. It just doesn't seem right. There is always some new thing in the title. We already know about the dementors so they aren't new. I think that the title will have something we've never heard of in it. Or at least something that we know very little about. I think it is more likely that this is either a working title or yet another one of those seabottom titles.

good post, a possible title ,sice the war is on and all,and we did hear the dementors where going abit mad..not right there...time we get rid of them,i agree.they make my hair stand up,i get cold too, ohhhhh.

J.k. This comment is mostly for you. I think your title is great. "Fate of the Deminators" I like it. It has a nice ring. But the next question is why didi you name it that. But i still don't question the worlds greatest writter to me.
