The Portuguese translation of ' Half-Blood Prince' is to be published by Rocco Publishing Company sometime in December this year. The novel is to be translated by Lia Wyller.

The HP books aren't translated in my home language, but I'd never be able to wait till December, knowing that millions of people around the world have already read it while I'm still waiting. The wait would be completely unbearable, besides the fact that you couldn't be able to go on HP sites without seeing spoilers everywhere.

Just for the record, this one is the Portuguese HBP translation as in Brazilian Portuguese translation.
Good thing I read the books in English. Waiting this long is nothing short of a torture.

Cool. After I read all the HP books in English, I'm going to buy them all in Portuguese and read them again. Come to think of it I probably should have started buying them when I went there last summer. Darn...
