| | |  Politicians' lack of dates down to Potter?
The Denvor Post has a mildly amusing article about a politican looking for love, who reads the Potter novels. A colleague suggested his reading habits were the reason why he could not get a date. Quote:
Ever since House Speaker Andrew Romanoff said in last Sunday's paper that he hoped a story about him would help get him a date, his Capitol colleagues haven't let him live it down.
During a meeting with other Democratic leaders last week, Romanoff said he likes to call TABOR-author Douglas Bruce "Voldemort," the villainous wizard in the Harry Potter book series. When a fellow Democrat asked him what he was talking about, Romanoff responded, "Don't you read Harry Potter?"
To which, Democratic Sen. Abel Tapia replied, "That's why you don't get dates."

awww the poor guy. Of coarse it was just a joke. I bet thats not the reason gals dont date him... maybe ha just needs a new haircut or something...or maybe its the fact that politiciansare highly boring. Its nice to know that some of them have interesting things about them (like reading hp) though.
