| | |  POA on Oscar list for makeup
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today that seven films including Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban are being considered for a makeup Oscar. The six other films in the category are: The Aviator, De-Lovely, **** Boy, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Passion of the Christ and The Sea Inside.
The committee will view clips of all the films and then select as many as three of them for the Oscar. All Oscar nominees will be announced on January 25 – stay tuned. The Oscar broadcast will air on ABC on Sunday, February 27.

*To the Academy* I'd love you to nominate PoA for Best Film and Greatest Director...ehm...I mean Best Director. And why are the awards in February, they've always been in March before, well except for last year, and the year before that? I don't know haven't watched them in a while...no really great films and I hated Lotr taking everything three years in a row...
