| | | PoA 4th highest grossing film of 2004
According to the "Best and Worst of 2004 Edition" of People magazine, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was #4 on the top 10 box office winners 2004 grossing $249.4 million.
It was also featured in the "Sequels" section saying "Best Harry yet, now that he's finally a conflicted teenager Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is a much more fascinating fellow. The third film in the series, by far the darkest, was easily the most engrossing for viewers (especially grown-ups who aren't rabid Harryites) as the young wizard and his pals confronted that scariest of monsters;their own emotions."
Thanks to Nathalie for the tip! |

Hi Emma, I think that is the record for US Domestic Box Office.
PoA is actually the 2nd Highest Grossing Movie of 2004 --> Worldwide.
Just right behind Shrek 2, which is number one.
You can check it out at --> boxofficemojo.com |
