The BBC has posted a new interview with actor Chris Rankin( Percy Weasley). Included in the article were two bits of interesting news.

Goblet of Fire film news :" I'm not really sure what's going on with that at the moment. Some photography as started, but I think the majority of principle photography kicks off in July. I'm not entirely sure yet if Percy will be there, we'll have to wait and see."

News about Percy in Book 6 :
You were chatting to JK Rowling at the premier party - any hints towards book six yet?
Yes and no. I got a bit of information out of her. I said 'I want a word with you Miss Rowling, I've been getting hate mail about Percy Weasley.' She did hint he might just redeem himself in the future, we'll have to wait and see.
Somewhat non-committal then.
Yes, but it's more than anybody seems to have got out of her in a very long time. He might redeem himself. [Laughs]

I hated Percy so much in the fifth book but I do hope he 'redeems' himself :- D Actually, if he dies, that would be pretty good too.

well it doesnt exactly mean book 6 does it? i mean for all we know 'future' could be the last few pages in book 7. which sucks. i quite like percy, i dont know why. but i find him adorable. i dont excuse his actions, he is a giant git in book 5 and more than a little blind.
i personally dont see a percy- rest of weasleys reconciliation very soon. its too juicy not to be drawn out.....IMO
but i think it could just as soon as be in the summer holidays, ie just as soon as the book starts.

i love percy, i don't have a clue why. it's just that, i always knew there was something more to percy. i mean, he's always getting picked on by the twins about his 'perfect-ness.' also, his parents are always thinking he's the perfect son, just like bill and charlie. he changed his image. i don't blame him, people expect too much from him -- he can't be what his parents expect him to be.
