| | |  Patil Twins and Nearly Headless Nick to Return for OoTP
In a recent interview with Manchester Online, 17 year-old Afshan Azad, who plays Padma Patil in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire reveals that she will be returning for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and has participated in read-throughs, costume fittings and make-up sessions with her on-screen twin Shefila Chowdhury, who plays Parvati Patil. Quote:
"The Goblet of Fire was the best experience of my life," said Afshan. "The first day we had to do a cast read through, where we go through the whole script. I was a bit star struck. I was a big Harry Potter fan before."

Furthermore, The Movie Insider is reporting that John Cleese will return as Nearly Headless Nick after being absent from POA and GOF. This, however is not yet confirmed, and for the time being is considered to be a rumor.

im glad the patil twins are coming back. they dont have a big part in this movie but its to see some new faces every now and then. and i hope nearly headless nick will be back. i missed him in the last two movies.

That’s a great observation! I hope they have that scene too, it was really emotional and explained a lot.
From all of the characters remaining on for this movie (or coming back in) it seems that we will be getting a lot of everything. Character revival XD. It almost seems that they are cutting less then in GOF; with the dementors, Miss Fig, and now Nearly Headless Nick. I guess we will have to wait to see just what else they keep. | |
