In April, Dan gave his
first interview to Empire Magazine. They have now put the 2nd part, to that interview, up on their site. The whole interview is in the Empire July issue which will be on shelves on May 28th. Here is some of the interview to whet your apetite;

Yeah it was like ‘Oh I don’t think I did that right; can we do one more?’ Emma really enjoyed that bit so I think it took about seven takes. The most takes we ever did one shot was 64, on a quidditch shot. It wasn’t my fault though… honest.
Is there anyone you’d still like to come and work on the films, since all these massive stars seem to be attracted to them?

There are a lot of rumours all the time. They said Rowan Atkinson for Voldemort and Hugh Grant's been mentioned for Voldemort and Professor Lockhart. I think they kind of make it up as they go along. One person I would love to work with is Daniel Day Lewis, but it doesn’t look like that’ll ever happen. Has he sworn off films now?
Having spent so long working on these movies, is it stranger when you’re not filming than when you are?
It’s kind of weird because I have loads of really good friends at school, but because I spend so much time on the set with adults you go back to school and it is different. It’s not like you feel out of place but there’s something different about it.*
Were you surprised by any of the stuff they were putting in to what is essentially a kid’s film?
But I don’t think these are kids' films. I think a lot of people have that assumption because the main characters are kids but I think they have the ability to appeal to anyone. I think this is one that everyone will enjoy. This is a very adult film in places, and very sophisticated in some of its ideas.
