Both Emma Watson (Emma´s Painting ) and Rupert Grint (Rupert´s Painting ) contributed to this event! In all, they have so far raised £22,000 for the charity.
Rupert's painting Rupert quotes: I'm currently filming in the HARRY POTTER Films and art is one of my many interests. My picture was inspired by my favourite style of art surrealism. I wanted to create an image that was different and unusual. Please note this picture can be viewed upside down also.
Emma's painting Emma says: 'I am a big fan of Art which I have always enjoyed, so it was a pleasure for me to be given the opportunity by 'Kith & Kids' to paint a picture for them.
I wanted to create something to remind people that the painting they had bought had been for a children's charity. I wanted to paint something for 'Kith & Kids' that was happy cheerful and a subject for children. A very ill child came to visit the Harry Potter sets all the way from Germany; I talked to her for a few minutes and she handed me these two lovely bears that she had brought all the way from her home. One a girl the other a boy, they were dressed to match. Hence the two little bears in my painting. I hope you like it. Love Emma Watson xxx |

| Wow! They're really cool drawings. I love the bears! I don't think Rupert's looks better upsidedown, though.

yeah, i agree, emmas detail is very good, esp. in the plants, look at the plants, well i think there good! lol and with RupArts (lol) there is sorta a face when u look at it upside down (the grapes are eyes, the carrot the mouth, and the brocolli the nose). I think thats what he was trying to achieve in their, a hidden face that u can only see looking at it upside down.
lol, me4ron, millsy, hehe. incase any of u international potter fanantics don't know who he is, he WAS (lol) an Australian Idol contestant. Just thought i'd give alittle background on him lol cheers guys

| overall Emmas is very good, but i don't like how the blanket and grass, plants etc have lots of detail and toning affects when the bears really dont. i guess bears are harder to paint? |

Rupert's looks like true art, like confusing symbolic stuff. You can almost see a face in it.

rupert's paint: 'it can be viewed upside down also...' funny... he glued the table, that's the only way to see this pix.
and emma's is really cute. really... that's why I love her.

Oooh really great for 13 year olds! I'm 18 and student at an art-school, so I should know! Emma's bears are adorable, and Rupert's is really neat! Reminds me of the first week in school where we were to draw apples and such
