| | |  Over a million German Deathly Hallows sold
Harry Potter und die Heiligtümer des Todes, the German edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has sold over 1 million copies within 24 hours. This totals to an increase of 13.5% books having been sold in comparison to the sales of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The books were released this past weekend in Germany, as well as in Austria and Switzerland.
