| | |  'Order of the Phoenix' will be filmed in the UK
Several months ago reports started surfacing claiming that ' Order of the Phoenix' might not be filmed in the UK. The Times is now reporting that the studio have told them that the fifth film will be shot in the UK, contrary to those prior reports. Quote:
The studio told The Times that it had decided against making the film in a cheaper location in Eastern Europe, such as Hungary or the Czech Republic. A spokesman for Warner Bros said: “The next Harry Potter film will be shot in the UK.”

i think the main set should be in the UK cuz then the audience gets a more feel of how the students live. but if they need to go to a different place for a certain part of a movie, then i wouldn't mind.

brilliant - the uk is the home of hp and always will be - the films have already changed too much - if they changed location as well, then i would have no belief in the films anymore (and would DEFINITELY never watch them again)

I for one am glad they're still filming them in the UK...they're totally British films why would they want to change any of that? I'm glad to hear that news. I mean, it's always been filmed in the UK and they shouldn't be suddenly changing the location. And it has British actors and actresses too, which would make more sense to keep it where it is.

I'm glad they have decided to keep the film in the UK. It wouldn't make sense to move it anywhere else. I agree with Ottery, moving it to Hollywood wouldn't be a smart idea at all.
