| | | 'Order of the Phoenix' script misplaced?
It is being reported that a copy of the ' Order of the Phoenix' went missing last week. Apparently a trucker found it and the script was returned to Warner Brothers who apparently thanked The Sun newspaper for handing the document in. Quote:
He said: “I couldn’t believe it when I realised it was a Harry Potter script. God only knows what it was doing in this lay-by.
“I never would have stopped unless I’d had a flat tyre, the area is completely deserted.”
Quote:
The script was returned to Warner Brother solicitor yesterday who thanked The Sun for handing the document in: “We’re very grateful to The Sun and its responsible readers for the return of our script.”
Please be sceptical of any sensationalism in the article. We all know The Sun has a reputation for stretching the truth

| | Guest | I read that this morning, and wondered who on earth would be so careless, but then again it is The Sun, and I wouldn't believe the date they print, let alone anything else!!

They are just crazy. I'd hate to believe it as that would put production at a stand still. I wonder who it was if we knew it was true!

wow, talk about potential disaster, if that script were just floating around for everyone to see? that would seriously hurt the film.

But if it is true then I'm happy it's back on it's place

Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

I wouldn't believe it ordinarily but they quoted WB. I think it's more a matter of them trying to spice it up. And of course they took a part in handing it in for the publicity, not because they care. This is the same newspaper who tried to buy stolen copies of HBP from an armed thief.

| First of all, how did the script get out...? and second of all, IS THAT GUY CRAZY???? He could have sold that thing for probably millions lol jk...... No, I'm glad he did the right thing, lf details about the film had gotten out, there would have been some Sirius trouble..(Sorry, I had to put that in...lol) You know, it's like the Quibbler.. you gotta love it, even though some of the things they publish are, lets just say.. unique...

If I found it, I would've made a copy of it first and then return the original jk, I'd return it, but I'd hit myself for it lol. So glad they found that script!
And the Sun...I think it does have a tendency to tell "little white lies". It's like the National Enquirer here in America. I read the National Enquirer just to get a laugh out of the stupid stuff they print And believe me, the stories they have are beyond stupid!!
