| | |  'Order of the Phoenix' cast update
We already knew that Dan, Rupert, Emma, Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) and Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) would be returning for ' Order of the Phoenix'. Now more names have been added to the 'confirmed' list. Quote: Confirmed:
James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley)
Jamie Waylett (Vincent Crabbe)
Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas)
Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley)
Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy)
Other actors are still in negotiations for returns to the franchise. This list includes: Quote: Negotiating: Tiana Benjamin (Angelina Johnson) - this scan from Now (thanks Kaz) claims Tiana will play a new character in EastEnders from May this year. Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan)... "things going well" Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick)... "not sure yet" David Bradley (Argus Filch)... "hopeful" Afshan Azad (Padma Patil)... "can't say yet"
As always with the Harry Potter films, cuts are necessary to translate the story from book to screen. As such, Miranda Richardson (Rita Skeeter) will not be returning to the series for film 5.
The above isn't a full cast list; more names will be confirmed in the weeks to come. ' Order of the Phoenix' starts filming next month.

This kind of seems like a bad cut. But then again I'm against a lot of the cuts they have made.

Yeah, well I'm sure he's gonna sign, it just wouldn't be the same without him and it'd be really really weird to have another Snape. Quote:

I don't understand why you think cutting Skeeter is a big mistake, she didn't play a big role in book 5 I think.

NO! i actually loved rita in ootp, i mean it's not like she's snape or unbridge but thats how everyone begins to believe harry again, that was one of my favorite parts of the book...oh well, they'd better have somethign cleaver to make up for the loss of that bit...

Great to hear Tom, Bonnie and the twins are coming back!! Wouldn't be the same without them!!
Won't miss Rita Skeeter's character at all, I guess the Quibbler interview with Rita, Harry & Hermione won't be one of the scenes.
