| | |  OotP scenes on ABC Family - UPDATED
ABC Family (cable channel) is airing commercials to promote their Harry Potter weekend, starting on Dec. 1, which include a special Order of the Phoenix preview.
A reader from Mugglenet sent in this description: Quote:
The first thing that you see is two (what appear to be) Death Eaters, one with a blue mask and one with a green mask, I believe. It then switches to a scene with Harry in it looking scared and sweaty. Then it switches to a scene with Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Neville, and Luna riding broomsticks in London right over the Thames River. You see the London Bridge in the background and you see a cruise tour boat that they are flying past. Then it switches to Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the Forbidden Forest backing away from something - it's either Grawp or the Centaurs. Then it switches to Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna, Neville, and Ginny flying past the Houses of Parliament/Big Ben. And then it switches to Harry flying towards the screen with London in the background, over the Thames River.

I highly doubt it's the D.A. flying to the Department of Mysteries, more like the Advance Guard flying Harry to Grimmauld Palace. (Thank goodness HPANA has the commercial up now.)
The scenes I glimpsed (and went through frame by frame) are:
- a flash of red and green (possibly a flashback to the Harry/Voldemort duel in GOF)
- a brief glimpse of a gold-masked Death Eater
- possibly a split-second shot of Voldemort taking off his hood (I'm not sure)
- Harry in Snape's office looking very sweaty
- Harry and possibly the Advance Guard flying past a large ship
- Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the Forbidden Forest backing away in fear of something (most likely Grawp)
- Harry and the Advance Guard flying past Parliament and Big Ben
- Harry flying at the lens (another shot of the Advance Guard flying through London)
Looks great -- now that some footage of OOTP is out, the WB will have to release the teaser trailer tomorrow.  | |

you guys the whole thing about thestrals is would they have them be seen or not? Because the majority of people cannot see them, so if they did it like that it would show a bunch of kids sitting in the air randomly moving along... *giggles to self* Funny image. So maybe just to avoid confusion they used brooms.
