Warner Brothers have spoken about their plans for ' Order of the Phoenix' merchandising in a Retailing Today article mentioning that products will be designed with an older target audience in mind; acknowledging that, as Harry grows, so do his fans/readers. Quote:
"We signed the same partners for the first two movies and did the same for the third and fourth so we're starting anew again," said Karen McTier, evp of domestic licensing and worldwide marketing for Warner Consumer Products. "Harry is getting older so we're going to skew a little older with this program. Instead of traditional toys we're going to focus on collectible toys and we'll skew older in apparel, as well."

I still love all the different toys and games from out of Harry Potter too, but it'll be fun to see what they come up with for the adults . Yea! something to look forward to.

If this means we finally get a chance to something else than legos for a change, I´ll warmly wellcome it. Legos are expensive, and doesn´t even look the part very much 
I´m a bit sceptical, though. This is probably just the way to get the toys to cost 300 euro instead of 30  And I have to admit: I´m not that addicted/rich/whatever

Collectables are nice as long as they are not too expensive.
I really liked the Mattel dolls, they really looked liked the actors. The Tonner Dolls based on the GOF are really detailed,too. I would love to add those to my collection.

i like the idea of harry potter for all ages. well, harry potter was actually originally for adults and now they have readers as young as 8.
