| | |  OoTP Casting news: new Bellatrix announced; young Marauders and Grubbly-Plank cast
The role of Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange, initially to be played by Helen McCrory, has been re-cast. Ms. McCrory has announced that she is expecting a baby, and will be too advanced in her pregnancy when her scenes in the Ministry of Magic are to be filmed. The role will now be played by Helena Bonham Carter, whose voice you will recognize from such films as Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and Corpse Bride. You may also recognize her from films such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fight Club, and Big Fish.

It has also been announced that the role of replacement Care of Magical Creatures teacher Professor Grubbly-Plank will be played by Apple Brook, who is a 25 year film and stage veteran.

Actor Jason Piper has also been cast in the part of the Bane the Centaur. 
And finally, the announcement all the fangirls have been waiting for (rejoice with me ladies), the young Marauders have been cast (pictures when I can get them). Young Sirius: James Walters Young Lupin : James Utechin Young Snape : Alec Hopkins Amber has found pictures of Alec Hopkins: close up here. It's a shame about Helen McCrory, she's a fantastic actress. I saw her when she was playing Rosalind in As You Like It, alongside Miss Miller, but I suppose congratulations to her! I can't wait to see the Marauders
