| | |  Official U.S. Order of the Phoenix DVD release date
Warner Home Video has officially announced the release date for the Order of the Phoenix DVD in the U.S. It's set to come out on the 11th of December this year - a month after it has been released in the U.K. The cover art can be seen here. Quote: -- The 2-Disc Special Edition DVD contains the following special
features:
-- Additional Scenes: 17 minutes of never-before-seen footage.
-- Trailing Tonks - Spend a day with Actress Nat Tena and receive
a very personal and often wacky tour of the Harry Potter and
The Order of the Phoenix stages.
-- Harry Potter: The Magic of Editing - Director David Yates and
Editor Mark Day show what a difference a good edit makes to
allow the viewers to edit a scene.
-- A&E Documentary: The Hidden Secrets of Harry Potter - Viewers
take a thrilling look back at the past Harry Potter films in
search of clues to the mysteries of the upcoming Harry Potter
saga.
-- ROM - This will include a timeline, a link to sneaks of HP6,
along with other materials.
The DVD will also be available as a single disc (widescreen & full-frame), HD-DVD & Blu-ray. Also for sale on the same day is the Harry Potter Limited Edition DVD Gift Set which can be seen here. W.B. are also re-releasing Potter films 1 - 4 in HD-DVD.

So awesome! Just seven days after my birthday! I now know where some of my B-day cash is going... 
And I'm sure the delay for the release in the states is because we are vastly a larger country than the UK and thus more populated, and so... it takes more time for them to make the dvds/tapes, cause they'll be literally flying off of the shelves and yeah. Patience ya'll. Patience. It could have been longer.
