Post No Mundungus Fletcher, Trelawney present for film 5
We have just learned that Mundungus Fletcher will not appear in OotP after all. They have cut his character from the film.

Warner Bros will not comment, but we have been assured this is the case.

We will keep you informed as we learn more.

UPDATE: TLC confirms that Mundungnus Fletcher isn't in the 'Order of the Phoenix' script however Professor Trelawney is.

There is yet no official word on whether Emma Thompson will return to reprise the role or not. We believe she will, and have heard that the producers want her back. We will let you know when there is more to tell.

No Mundungus....aahhhhhhhh! I was looking forward to seeing who they'd get to play the little sneak. Well,that's alright i guess,doesnt damper my spirits as much as no Gary Oldman as Sirius.
Emma Thompson...I hope returns as Trelawney...she was great. She'll be even better for this one seeing as it's the first time we'll hear about the prophecy.

That's a little depressing, I know they need to cut parts to not make the movie 6hrs long but I was really looking forward to his character

I'm not too dissapointed. He's definetely not my favorite character, but I do think that they need to keep everything in and just make the movies longer because there is so much to the story that they are just leaving out!!!
