Fashion e-zine WhoWhatWearDaily is reporting that Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacaour) will not appear in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Quote: |
Sadly, Poesy has chosen to not reprise her role in the Potter pictures, so it’s unlikely we’ll see her on American red carpets in the very near future.

WHAT?! No Fleur!!! That totally sucks! I hope she decides to come back or they get another french girl as pretty as Clemence!
They HAVE to still do the wedding though. I've been looking forward to it
ever since the DH book came out!!!
I hope she still acts in other movies in her later career, she's such a great actress! | |

I wouldn't mind them recasting Fleur, Clemence is pretty, but she doesn't seem the type to turn men into mindless slugs by her mere appearance. THAT BEING SAID, if the wedding in and of itself is not included in the movie, upset, angry, insulted, revolted, crushed, gypped, and insanely homicidal will not even go near what I will feel.  | |

No kidding? Didn't surprise me. Stupid really. Shes not my favorite character, but she does bring humour to the books and since DH is split into two movies... to stay truer to the books right? Why cut her out then? Maybe they'll find another actress? I dont think so, but... you never know | |

NOTHING.
If Fleur isn't there... that's a crucial part. If I recall correctly, at the wedding the Death Eaters came and that's why Harry, Ron, and Hermione ran in the first place. They can't leave that out because that'd be THE MEANEST BROKEN PROMISE EVER!
But yeah, I doubt they'll leave her out of this. If not Clemence, than someone else will be found no doubt  I don't really like her as Fleur anyways... she was pretty enough but yeah.
Can't forget that; there is the possibility someone else will be Fleur in D.H! I kinda hope that'll happen in a way, but if Clemence doesn't come back than a new person will probably be coming. | |

Sorry but this is not true.
WhoWhatWearDaily is a fashion blog run by two ex magazine editors that comment about people's outfits. They did not interview her for that post so please don't believe it. Since the blog started they have never interviewed anyone exclusively for their site. It's just their thoughts about fashion.
In the April issue of Empire magazine there was an interview with Clémence and she said that while she is not in HBP she would come back for DH if asked.
I would believe a movie magazine interview over a fashion blog anyday. This shouldn't be on your news page as it's just made up gossip. | |

That's really sad! I liked her as Fleur! Fleur isn't that much important in the plot, but what anout shell cottage? And I would've loved to see the wedding. scene. But if she gets replaced by another actress, it would be a bit confusing for some people because they wouldn't know that it's the same character in GoF. | |

However, I do believe that this should be understood: JUST BECAUSE CLEMENCE DOESN'T PLAY THE CHARACTER DOESN'T MEAN IT WON'T BE RECASTED.
imo, Clemence wasn't right for the role. She isn't ditzy enough; she is gorgeous, but not in a veela, transfixing way.
