| | | No Critic's Choice Awards For GOF Previously, we told you that 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' was nominated for three Critic's Choice Awards by the Broadcast Film Critics Association. One for Dan Radcliffe as Best Young Actor, one for Emma Watson as Best Young Actress and one for the movie as a whole for Best Family Film. Unfortunately, GOF and the actors failed to pick up any of these awards, falling to Freddie Highmore ( Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) in the Best Young Actor category, Dakota Fanning ( War of the Worlds) in the Best Young Actress category and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in the Best Family Film category respectively. Congratulations to the winners and take heart all HP fans! There are more awards yet to be earned this season!

Hogwarts RPG Name: Tyler Perkins First Year | Farmer Carter | | Ama's Secret I would have to agree with their decision, I'm not to fond of Emma and Dan's acting, and Emma had no chance against Dakota, she is just amazing! |

Yeah they made some good choices, and even though she is a good actor I cannot stand Dakota Fanning, so I think its too bad she won...

I am glad that Emma and Dan BOTH were nominated for this legit award, just the nomination alone is a great accomplishment and for the 2nd year in a row, this means that the critics think that both Emma and Dan are doing a fantastic job portraying their characters to be among the best young performers of this year. There is always going to be one winner so congrats to the winners, and there is always next year for Dan and Emma.

I think I do have to agree on the choices for actor and actress....film, I think I'm gonna disagree, but I'll know that for sure later tonight, because I'm finally going to Narnia...

I think Rupert is a better actor then Dan, but he never gets the credit. The first time the critics really praised him was for GoF. And they should have done that way earlier.

Further proof that critics are morons and Ottery is the only one y'all should listen too. *fires the cannons* When has your prince ever led you wrong?

Freddie looked cute but I haven't seen the movie so I can't say anything about his acting, Dakota looks like a martian *Ottery & Teddy zap her with their ray guns* That girl isn't cute she's freaky *zaps her again just to make sure she's zapped* and CoN won because IT IS a family film GoF was not...family would imply everyone and PG-13 is not for the kiddies. Quote: Congratulations to the winners and take heart all HP fans! There are more awards yet to be earned this season! Awards don't mean a thing...GoF was good and that's all that matters...not box office, not Dan's bathtub scene, or Rupert's buffness OMG! *dies*

Well if the grossings for the movie was worht nothing that would be a big blow! Over 800 million dollars of ticket sales is worth more than awards! That is what represents the people and fans!
*Gives a side glance* ..... But an award would of been nice!

Anyway, I agree with their decision... Freddie Highmore is just awsome, and Narnia is a great movie, it was well adapted from the book I say, I really wasnt disapointed... As for Dakota I havent seen war of the worlds, but in other movies Dakota is just a great actress for a girl her age, she amazes me !!!

It's great that Dan and Emma got nominated and with more hard work I think they could win it next time!!! Dakota Fanning is a really good actress, never actually seen Freddy Highmore. I read somewhere that Freddy was Dan's friend.
