Nina Voelker, who was cast in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (as recently announced), explained what significance her original character, Wendy Slinkhard, played in the film: Quote:
It's only a very small role, Slinkhard Wendy is a former student of Professor Slughorn's and is now a published author, so I was in a picture with Professor Slughorn, played by Jim Broadbent, signing my books for him....

The Guants are a big part of it.
Basically there only doing two pensive scenes.
The one at the orphanage and the Horcrux one.
Cause the Guant one and the one with Hepzibah Smith havent been cast!
