| | |  New Phoenix U.K. release date - July 12 (UPDATED)
We have received official word from Warner Bros. that the release date for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been moved up from July 13 to July 12 in the U.S. and the U.K.
Thanks to TheSnitch via Portkey for the heads up! UDPATE: After speaking with Warner Bros. personally, they have confirmed that it is only the U.K. date which has been changed to July 12. The U.S. release date is still July 13. | |

Stupid decision..... even if it is earlier. the general pubic isn't going to want to see it. WB can only rely on the HP fans for so much.

All movies are released on a Thursday in Australia, so it's not all that unusual for me. I'd be surprised if it was released on any other day of the week. Though I have found that movies are released on any day of the week over here in England...
Still, I'm not complaining! I'm looking forward to the premiere in London...!
