| | |  New Leavesden studio set tour info; Michael Gambon to attend Wizarding World open
As announced earlier this year, Leavesden Studios, home of the Harry Potter films, will be turned into a museum for the franchise, where props and sets will be available for public viewing. A new article gives more details on specific portions from the films that will be on display. Quote:
The visitor attraction will include recreations of some of the boy wizard’s haunts, including the Hogwarts school hall and Albus Dumbledore’s study.

There will be replicas of characters, as well as clothes worn by Hermione Granger, played by Emma Watson, Voldemort, Rubeus Hagrid, Professor Filius Flitwick and the Weasley family.
The "Hogwarts experience," as coined by the article, is set to open for public tours sometime in 2012.
Additionally, the article states that Michael Gambon will be attending the June 18th opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida. He is the newest cast member confirmed, alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright, James and Oliver Phelps, Tom Felton, and Warwick Davis.

That's my dilemma!  I wanna go to London when I graduate, but I'll graduate a year before the museum opens. I think I can wait a year, then. 
Dang, now I'm even more envious of all of my SS buddies going to the WWOHP on opening day! Everyone who goes MUST show pics to hold me over until I finally go, whenever that will be.

I can CONFIRM that you will more than likely NOT BE seeing Rupert on the 18th. For the most part the stars are there for the media events/parties which are the few days BEFORE the 18th. I’m saying this to avoid disappointment for those going on the 18th sorry but you will NOT be seeing the stars up close like we all may want. But enjoy the area it truly is a wonderful experience

I simply can't imagine Michael Gambon in The Flight Of The Hippogriff and in Dragon Challenge I'm sure going in Leavesden Studios in 2012.It will be a great experience to go there and to see where the films are made.
