U know, she looks cute... but why is the paparazzie(?) stalking her?

Thats really cool! She looks really nice even though its a candid pic! But it's bad that the peparazzi is so interested in her I hate that *pokes peparazzi*

EDIT: I just read the scans! Are those horrible things directed to her? 'If I had the chance to kill her, I would' and 'She seriously looks like a pig' ?? Are those directed to her??

That's probably the stuff that's been said on hate-sites directed at her. I personally don't like the pictures, it's such a blatant invasion of privacy which I thought David Heyman was always working against - taking images at her school is so wrong.

I think she is beautiful. The hateful stuff written on pictures is just disgusting and should be cut off before posting them in the internet. It's a shame such things take place at all. And I aslo think Emma is right - taking pictures at Katie's school is very wrong. I honestly wouldn't like to be in her parents' shoes.

I feel sorry for Katie. Being stalked and all those hateful remarks. It is purely shameful how low people will stoop.

I think she's a good Cho...but I imagined her a little differently...although that's the case with every character, no matter how different or the same (Dan as Harry, Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid, and er....someone as Percy haev been the best choices so far in my opinion.)

Can I just say that it is wonderful to see everyone here is mature enough to make the distinction between Katie Leung and Cho Chang. It is so refreshing!! Thank You to SnitchSeeker and everyone on it for being genuine people. I read the scans as well. If you look closely, you can see that these are blow ups of the pictures of the forums. I cannot believe that people could be so jealous of another person's good fortune. I also agree wholeheartedly that, just because Katie Leung has a job that makes her a public personality during the time that she is working, the press have no right to hound her in her private life; after all she is only 17. However, in saying that, I also feel that the public itself is to blame. If people were not so obsessed with celebrities' private lives (love lives, school, etc.) and reading tabloids, the press would find a sharp drop in the profit they can makie from stalking celebrities. That is another thing I have to give to Snitchseeker, this site reports a rumour as a rumour and then says nothing more about it. No one here dwells on it. So, again, I have to say a great big thank you.

Being an actress means that you get stalked by photographers all the time; it's part of the package. *shrug*

She doesn't deserve the hate crap, though...the people saying bad things about her merely hate the character Cho, and want to dish it out on Katie just because she's playing Cho.

Exactly. Dan isn't Harry, Rupert isn't Ron, Emma isn't Hermione. They're just acting as the characters in the movies.

I don't like Cho as a book character, but of course it doesn't relate to Katie! Katie is a pretty girl, and I think it's horrible to hate her because she plays Cho. People who do it are just stupid.

As much as it may be a part of acting, her education shouldn't have to be affected by it. The producers kept a very heavy guard on the main kids to stop their personal lives from being affected and it seems it hasn't worked in Katie's case. Just think about, no paparazzi have EVER got near Dan, Rupert or Emma at school. Poor girl just wants to do her A Levels in peace!

That is soooo true , I mean I hate the character of Cho Chang and im still wondering why Ms. Rowling would put her in the book. But Katie was just an innocent girl out there looking for a break , and no matter how bad tha break was she still made it, so you can either be stupid for hateing a girl based on a silly character she plays , or just be jealous that she actually made it and gets to be around all the people you probably idolize. , well thats all I have to say about that.

Well, I think she wanted to create the character which was not so nice as others, so people could hate her. There must be a charaxter in the book which readers would hate Cho's case shows that teenaged girls are sometimes a bit unstable. (I am not as much, believe! )
