| | |  New hi-res Half-Blood Prince photo featuring Harry, Ron & Hermione (UPDATE #2)
Nick Magazine has published a second publicity shot from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It shows the trio in the Gryffindor Common Room and speculation is that Harry is showing Hermione the Half-Blood Prince's potions book. We will provide a hi-res as soon as its available from Warner Bros.

Emma: Her hair is pretty, but I agree that it isn't too Hermione-like: too light (though that could well be lighting, but still.) and the curls are a bit too pretty, not the frizzy Hermione.
Dan: Hot as ever. His hair has been bugging me some too; I wish it was a little longer and messier, like Harry's.
Rupert: He's looking quite fine himself. From the picture his hair looks short, but I can't see it too well so I won't comment. I can't wait to see his Quiddich and Lavender action! | |

I think the reason most people are more upset about Hermione's appearance in canon than anyone is because Hermione is such a great role model, and as fans, we want her to be the chestnut brunette, bushy-haired nerd because that's who Hermione is. I think the whole overly pretty Hermione takes away from the essence of her. She's a role model because of her brains and heart, not her nice hair, stylish clothes, and all of that stuff. *sigh* Anyhoo...
I like the picture though!  *fawns over Rupert*
