| | |  New Harry vs Voldemort final battle photos, Harry & Hagrid Deathly Hallows promos
USA Today released several new photos from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer, out tomorrow, including Harry and Voldemort's final battle on the Hogwarts courtyard, Voldemort and his Death Eaters looking at Hogwarts, presumably, Harry and Hagrid flying across England on Sirius's motorbike, and a few caps released in the MTV preview earlier this month. Those can be seen below. David Heyman talked about some of the specific scenes; quotes from him are under their respective images.

"Harry and Voldemort go wand to wand in the courtyard, and we get to destroy Hogwarts," says Heyman. "It's a mess in there. We probably made a little more of the battle between the two of them (than in the book). We felt we needed to dramatize it."

"There's an awful lot of action in this film," says Heyman. "As much as there is, what I've always loved is the character work and the relationships that Jo Rowling has given us."

"This is quite a physical film," Heyman says. "The teenage trio of wizards Harry, Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) do a lot of stunt work," he says, "running through the forest, avoiding explosions, riding dragons."

"We viewed him as having been trapped down in the bottom of Gringotts and seeing no light, so he’s kind of a fair-skinned dragon,” says producer David Heyman. “When he emerges and flies off, it’s actually quite beautiful.”
Producer David Heyman was quoted in the article, where he spoke about the technology used to bring the larger action-packed sequences to life. Quote:
"The technology has developed and offers great possibilities," Heyman says. "We won't be going for that 'wow, things always jumping out at you' effect. I think the best 3-D doesn't have to be aggressive. We'll be pushing back from the screen. We're going for an organic, truthful 3-D."
"Those people who aren't keen to embrace the 3-D of it all will have plenty of opportunities to watch it in 2-D," he says. "Technical advances have leaped forward over the course of the series. "A lot of the stuff we do in this film, we couldn't have done on the first film," says Heyman. "The quality of the visual effects is so much better. (House elves) Kreacher and Dobby will be so much better realized than in the previous films since we have new technology to better capture their faces."
"What I love about these films is the blend of old and new technology."
Additionally, SnitchSeeker received a new photo from the Daily Mail, showing a close up of Harry's side of the final battle, where he defends himself against Voldemort with a disarming spell. That can be found here.  UPDATE: The Daily Telegraph released a close-up of Voldemort's side of the final battle, where the Dark Lord is on his knees whilst duelling Harry. The photo can be seen below.

The final battle pictures still makese believe it's part of a dream considering there is nobody around them, unless since Hryman said they wanted to make the battle more cinematical they made it so nobody is around them so they can actually Duel. Awesome pictures though, the cinematography looks amazing.

Oh my lord. This is amazing and bittersweet all at once. These photos serve to show how the cast has grown as actors and actresses and how dramatic and heartwrenching the last films will be. If you thought the previous films were depressing and heart-pounding, think again.
EDIT: Oh, forgot to ask... isn't the battle supposed to be in the ruined great hall? Not the courtyard?

I am absolutely speechless over this photos. It is such a surreal thought that the franchise is DONE. Done? Noooooooo. I cannot wait to see the films though. It actually looks as though they have gone out of their way to make these last three very memorable.

Half of the Castle was crashed down... & what happened to the crowd especially those brave Order of the Phoenix members & Dumbledore's Army???
But all in all, Those images are looks awesome... makes me excited to watch the films.
