| | |  New Harry Potter: The Exhibition photos
New photos from Harry Potter: The Exhibition, have been released, featuring Harry's Quidditch robes from the early films, Slughorn's robes, Buckbeak and Kreacher. They can all be seen here.     Quote:
The fourth setting explores some of the classes the students experience at Hogwarts. In the Potions area, guests can view Professor Snape’s original costume, alongside his bubbling potions.
In the Divination area, guests can marvel at the details of the exotic wardrobe of Professor Trelawney and gaze into her crystal ball in an effort to predict the future.
Artifacts on display include; Hermione Granger's time-turner, Harry Potter’s Nimbus 2000, The Golden Snitch, The Sorcerer’s Stone, a Giant Pawn, Death Eater Robes and Masks, Dementors, the Goblet of Fire Casket, Dobby, Fawkes, Dumbledore's Wand and more. Quote:
- It took 12, 53-foot tractor trailers to transport the entire exhibition to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
- It took organizers 400, eight-hour days (3,200 hours) to set up the exhibition.
- There are 40 characters and 19 creatures represented in the exhibition.
- The smallest piece featured is Cho’s Yule Ball earrings.
- There are 16 wands featured in the exhibition.
- There are 25 robes featured in the exhibition.
The display is situated in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Tickets can be bought here.. We shall be attending the press preview today. It opens to the public tomorrow and will close on September 27th.  | |
