i love them! i too am puzzled as to the pairings, but i really like the first one. Alan Rickman can say so much, just with his eyes.  
they should have paired Hermione with Lavendar; talk about "good" vs. "evil". ha, ha.

You could say that of any of the characters in that scene. Quote:

Lavender and maybe Cormac. That would've made more sense. But Slughorn, as the new teacher, had to be on the posters somewhere. Pairing him with Ron might've made more sense, since he snubs him in the story. Greyback's probably the one that makes the least sense. Quote:

I agree with Ginerva_P, I'm assuming it is Good vs Evil in the pairings.... doesn't really work with Severus though.

Looking at the 4 new HB posters makes it harder to wait for 70+ more days for the movie to open. I have to agree about the 4th poster paring, but I won't second-guess the powers that be for now.
