| | | New GoF Set Report: Virginia Water Lake
A Zanzaro reader has posted a new report from the Goblet of Fire set which is currently filming at Virginia Water Lake. The entire report can be read here. Quote:
Security guards were all over the place. To prevent too many onlookers getting in the way, the Pedestrian Path had even been blocked off with a detour created approximately 10 metres off the original one.
Quote:
It wasn't long before we spotted Emma Watson. Wearing a pink shirt and beige trousers, nothing odd there. But as she came off set she put on a mask, and proceeded to play conkers with a friend. Mask? How serious are Warner brothers about protecting their cast from conkers? Or could it be they are worried about snaps appearing in tomorrows 'Sun' or tabloid. It doesn't make much sense for the whole cast to walk around in masks, so it probably was a 'safety' precaution, as it was only her wearing what could best be described as a welding/blowtorch mask.
(For those who don't know, conkers are really round and hard, almost like huge nuts. They are hung on the end of a piece of string and you flick the conker at your friends conker. The winner is the person who manages to smash the other person's conker.)
You can find a page of photographs of the area where they were filming here. Quote:
The Site wasn't the only busy part of the set; It seemed that the crew were on the lake too this time. Something they avoided last year by creating an artificial lake scene at one point in the Azkaban filming. It looked like there was only one boat on the lake this afternoon with two crew members filming the set.
Quote:
Bonnie Wright who plays the part of Ginny Weasley, was also seen wearing a rather bright orange shirt, and eating an ice-cream off set [fascinating stuff, well not really!].
Quote:
There are pinstriped tents and areas for the actors to rest in close to the set. Yada Yada Yada. Looks like there's a cafeteria tent too this year, [I guess actors have to eat too eh?].
The writer of this report also adds that he/she will be going back to watch some more filming and will hopefully write another report.

Looks and sounds like fun... lol Conkers is actually a very old game that was frequently played in the Victorian period. The conkers are much smaller than tennis balls, a litle larger than cherries and they're extremly hard, not soft.

I'm waiting waiting waiting for this movie to come out. My friends think I'm insane because on the back of my notebooks I have 'November 18, 2005' and a load of other things (lol). Well, we are all a bit insane (but proud of it!), now aren't we?
