| | | New GoF Golden Egg & Harry photo
The Telegraph Magazine recently featured a new picture from ' Goblet of Fire', in one of their articles. It shows Harry laying bed looking at the open Golden Egg.
The article discusses the special effects that will be used in the fourth film.
The scan can be viewed here courtesy of HPANA.
Stuart Craig's (HP's production designer) biggest challenges for this next film are listed as being; The arena for the Quidditch World Cup, the massive tented 'city' which appears (via digital manipulation) sunk into the South Downs, and the Graveyard where Voldemort and Harry Potter are to have their final showdown.
He says, Quote:
"The gravestones bear the names of the crew, which is fun, in a rather macabre way. The lawyers are so concerned with copyright issues, we had to use our own."
Although alot of the 'magic' will be created digitally - even the golden egg has its resin body enhanced to create its magical interior - the article says the film is also incorporating the extensive use of animatronics - like for the dragon - and prosthetics.
Nick Dudman, creature effects supervisor, says the following about creating the 'look' for Wormtail; Quote:
"We're hinting at the rat he once was - with new ears made from translucent gelatine-like material, a bald cap to give him a scabby head, and a very thin animal-like hair wig on top."

| Good picture, but not the best.
He looks less mature there than he really is. IMHO.
And I like comments, too! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Mione Borthwick Sixth Year | The egg looks exactly like what I thought it would....Dan looks mighty like what he did in the first and even second movie. Nothing like the pictures I've been seeing of him lately. He is still hot though...
The names on the gravestones is very ironic... |
