I hope they do too. I was extremely livid to find out they cut out such an important scene as the Karkaroff/Snape scene. *shakes head* I'd like to know why that never made the final cut.

I have a theory. Early reports said GoF made Snape look Evil. But the final product didn't. Heck, the way he was jabbing Barty with the wand made him look good! So, perhaps those scenes were deleted because they threw suspicion on him which was unfounded, or something. Like maybe it distracted from the main plot. Just a thought. Hope we see them on the DVD, though. The PoA disk was pathetic when it came to them. Hopefully Newell will explain in his audio commentary.

In hindsight though, they're going to wish they put that in there. Snape is always suppose to walk that line of, "Is he good or bad?" and this would've been perfect to have in it. It would've been a good contrast. The way he was poking his wand into Barty Jr. made him look good, but just scenes ago he was talking about the dark mark and being a death eater to Karkaroff, which the movie tried desperately to portray as the bad guy to begin with.

Then again, Alan and David know his fate so maybe they don't want to mislead audiences too much. As it stands, GoF put him in a relatively good light.
