Emma Watson is reportedly considering the lead role in a St. Trinian’s comedy film, which centers around rather risqué, trouble-making girls at a boarding school. Ealing Studios recently bought the rights to the series (which began in the ‘50s) and has secured Rupert Everett to star as the school’s cross-dressing headmistress. Quote:
Emma has agreed in principle to star, pending final approval of the script, which is still undergoing re-writes. She thinks it will be a lot of fun and a good stepping stone away from the world of Harry Potter.
UPDATE: This rumor has been debunked. | |

St Trinian's is such an awesome tradition! The funniest is when guys dress up as girls though! I think it would be really good for Emma, she could let her hair down in the role a bit rather than being Hermione! hehe
Rupert Everett as a cross-dressing headmaster?! I am definitely watching it. After My Best Friend's Wedding there is nothing that guy can't do..the singing was classic!
