| | |  New Evanna Lynch interview
HP actress Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) recently gave an interview with Disney Adventures magazine in which she discussed corresponding with J.K. Rowling and her thoughts on what will happen to her character in Deathly Hallows. Quote: Did you feel nervous about auditioning?
I really wanted to go because, if I didn’t, I never would have known and I’d have been annoyed with myself. They had to pick someone, so why couldn’t I have a go? It’s like in the script when Harry’s trying to encourage some students to be in Dumbledore’s Army. He says, “Think of all the great wizards in history and if they can do it, why can’t we?” It was kind of like that.
We heard you wrote a letter to J.K. Rowling before getting the role.
And she wrote back! I told her I really wanted to be Luna and she encourage me. She was saying how she always wanted to be a writer and was always wishing it would happen, but there was this waiting time and she got experience from it. And now she realized why she had so much waiting time, because it gave her all the experiences that she needed. And she told me maybe that’s what I needed.
What about Luna made you like her so much?
She’s fresh and honest. She doesn’t pretend to be anyone and she says what she thinks, but it’s not rude or anything. She’s fun as well.
Do you think Luna will be in the final book?
Yes, I think she’ll be big in Book 7. I don’t think Harry is going to go back to school at Hogwarts, but I think he and Ron and Hermione will come back to pick up Neville and Ginny and Luna.

thats was a really good interview. i think it was way better than her first one she did on CBBC but that was probably because she was nervous. i really am happy for hr getting the part. nice interview!

I've come to like Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood. Why? Because JKR was in correspondence with her for so long, and that makes her special. And also because, she is Luna in a way.
