| | | New Dan Radcliffe Newsletter
Dan Radcliffe is now sending out a new newsletter to all fans who write to him. He gives his thoughts to those who suffered in the Tsunami and thanks everyone who donated to Demelza House. Quote:
I think we all start 2005 on a somber note. I, like everyone else in the world, could not believe my eyes as the terrible pictures emerged over the Christmas period from the Tsunami earthquake. My thoughts are with everyone who suffered and are still suffering from this disaster.
I would like to thank everyone who sent me (and my dogs!) Christmas cards. Many of the decorations that were sent were placed on our family tree and it definitely reflected the global nature of my fan mail---- as all countries were represented. The tree looked amazing!
Thank you, also, to everyone who contributed to my Demelza House appeal through the brilliant websites Danradcliffe.com and Danradcliffe.co.uk. I loved hearing about the various projects that people carried out and the money raised. I know everyone at Demelza House values the time and effort shown for this special hospice.
Quote:
Dan viewed a few movies since his last update : VERA DRAKE, DEAD MAN'S SHOES, and THE INCREDIBLES.
And his latest music : DEVENDRA BANHART, GANG OF FOUR, JOANNE NEWSOME, THE FUTUREHEADS and BRITISH SEA POWER.
It is also noted that Dan is studying hard for his upcoming exams (presumably GCSE's).

I know, they trio has to come back, I hate it when they make sequeals without the original characters. Its just not right. Anyways, I think its a very good idea of him to make a newsletter, it would help in not having to write so many letters. It was also very sweet of him to write about his thoughts on the Tsunami. I think its a horrible thing. I looked at the pictures before and after, it was horrible, the homes were completely gone. The only building left were the churches and stuff, all the houses were gone. so sad. Anyways, its an excilent idea. byers |

He is a very thoughtful person, I can see him becoming a spokesman type, the sort who speak out on behalf of others who don't have a voice or represent and help different charities. He is a model - for all those drug taking, permanently boozed up, so called celebs that seem to grace (or disgrace!) our papers these days - to look to emulate.

That's really nice of him. Good to see that this generation of young stars have good head's on their shoulders, and aren't party animals like we've seen before.

To be honest, instead of sending Dan gifts, people should have sent the tsunami victems things.

If we all knew that this world disaster is coming, nobody would have done their Christmas shopping. Just do your part and don't play on the guilt trip.
