I loved the Robbie Coltrane bit too where he imagined what the films would be like with an American Harry. He was so right when he said it would not work.
Alan Rickman was funny too - I doubt the 6/7 year olds actually write to him. Maybe their mothers make them. I'd have thought they'd think he was scary.
