| | |  Mrs Weasley 'possibly' back for OotP
Julie Walters (Mrs Weasley) was on the chat show, Parkinson, tonight and briefly discussed her role as the Weasley mother in the Potter series.
She said that she'd 'possibly' be back for ' Order of the Phoenix' the fifth Potter film, after confirming to Parkinson that she wasn't going to be in ' Goblet of Fire' because they'd cut her - "How dare they!" was his response!
The interview also featured other mentions of her role as the Weasley mother.
Apparently as Mrs Weasley she wears padding, which includes padded bossoms made from bird seed. She said Dan was very disappointed to find out she wasn't as cuddly in real life as she appeared in the films.
Julie also said she loves the role of Mrs Weasley and wants to get back to it.
Julie, in herself, was hysterical on the show. She and Will Smith (who was also on the show) bounced off each other incredibly with jokes.

I hope she does return in OOTP...I watched the show and I can't believe how fast you guys actually got it here...that's incredible!!!
Her and Will Smith made really great jokes...I liked the end part where Will Smith made a joke about a toilet in Japan!!!

She has to come back she is the embodiment of how I imagined Molly and it just wont be the same without her. She makes the loving family seem like such a tangible thing. She's awesome and needs to be in it. Especially as a comfort to Harry after losing Sirius and before that the little tiffs she had with Sirius.

Eventhough it is really hard to keep the same actors for 7 movies straight i think that they should try their very best in doing so, Even a small character like molly weasly, having a different actor play that roll would take away something from the movie. In PoA, obviously since they couldn't get the same dumbledore back, I kinda felt like something was taken away from that character in the movies cause in the books I will always picture the Richard Harris dumbledore as opposed to the new one in PoA. Julie Walters is the perfect Molly Weasly and cant picture a different one!   | |

I'm with you there 100% I love Julie Walters, and I couldn't see anyone else as Mrs. Weasley. It isn't a big part, but her character is so much more important in Ootp and I...well I want to see her play the part. I want everyone back in the roles they played. This goes for you too Emma. *Ottery glares* That's why they should hurry up and film that movie right now, and rush out right after GoF...<
I hope she comes back.

I hope that they allow her to come back for OOTP because she is the perfect Mrs. Weasley and also if they switch characters this far into them already it ruins your vision of the magical world. Once you've seen the actor in the movie you usually associate how that person looks with the character you read about. For me even when they had to find another Dumbledore made a difference, also when they switched directors. I liked the new director's view but it was a lot different style then the first two.

Julie Walters is an excellent choice of character. If there were ever a possiblilty of writing "mrs. weasly" into the script for any of the next three films, she would sign on. She is an excellent actress and I pray her character get put on the next films.
